67 -- DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT The U.S. Army Visual Information Center, Washington, DC intend to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Sony Electronics under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government requirement (2 each) of the following equiment which is to support a Component Digital Television Production Suite and Digital Component Editing Suite: Digital Betacam Recorer/Reproducer Mod DVM-A500, Decoder Board, BKDW, and Rack Mount Kit, RMM-110. Army currently using digital betacam recorder/reproducers. This notice of intent is not a request of competitive proposals; however all responsible sources may submit descriptive literature which fully demonstrates their product meets the brand name specification which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 22, with the following revision "... all proposal received with 15 days ... after date of publication of this synopis will be considered by the Government."
