U -- ADVANCED OCCUPATIONAL EDUCATION SOL RFQ442-0025 DUE 091900 POC Norman Ward, 859-253-8880 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a service contract to the qualified business capable of providing an Advanced Occupational Education to the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution in Beckley, WV. The contractor is to provide a program leading to a one year certificate and/or Associate Degree. The contractor will be required to provide a program coordinater, specialzed equipment, and maintain records accessible to the Government. The institution anticpates that classes will be held in the evening hours between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Although, some morning, afternoon and weekend hours may be included. This is a contractual position, instructors will not exceed 30 hours per week. This solicitation is a unrestricted. The performance period be Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters during 2001, with options for semesters through Fall 2005. The anticipated release date of this solicition is August 15, 2000; closing September 14, 2000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered for an award.
