This acquisition is for Emergency Medical ambulance service, EMS response within five (5) minutes' receipt of request for services and patient transport services required for Government Beneficiaries and general population at Brooke Army Medical Center, Building 3600, 3851 Roger Brooke Drive, Fort Sam Houston. The contractor shall provide full emergency patient transport services to authorized beneficiaries located at BAMC properties and the Fort Sam Houston reservation, to include all associated housing areas, training facilities/areas, Troop Medical Clinic, military dorms, commercial concerns e.g., commissary, post exchange, Fort Sam Houston Elementary School, and Cole High School mass gathering sports events. The contractor shall cover the range of paramedic and ambulance services provided in the local community to include Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and treatment of physiological incidents. The contractor shall participate in BAMC Emergency Preparedness Exercises,when requested and provide services to accommodate BAMC participating in MASS Casualty responses, on demand the contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, vehicles, supplies, equipment, transportation, and reports in accordance with the Statement of Work. This acquisition will be a indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract with a base period through 30 Sep 00 and two one year options, processed under Commercial Item procedures.
