labor and equipment, supervision, and material necessary for the
installation of a new shop dust collection system and HVAC system in
the existing carpenter shop at Lassen Volcanic National Park, Mineral,
California. Project includes, but is not limited to, furnishing and
installing a dust collector unit, HVAC system, controls, ductwork,
hangers, removal of the existing propane heater and related propane
piping, registers, floor sweeps, controls, and louvers. The dust
collection system shall be interlocked with the HVAC system. Contract
duration is 120 calendar days. The price range is $25,000 to $100,000.
This procurement will result in a firm fixed-price contract. The
Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1796 and the annual size standard is
$7.0 million. This procurement will be awarded to the responsible
offeror whose offer represents the "best value" to the Government. The
best value determination will be made on the basis of (1) quality and
(2) price. The Government will assess the quality of each offeror on
the basis of (1) its past performance; (2) its experience; and (3) its
qualfications and experience of key personnel. The Government
considers an offeror's quality to be equal to its price. In order to
demonstrate quality of past performance and experience, provide a
history of contracts and supporting documentation with corporate
management in industrial dust collection and HVAC systems and provide
references of past experience for the last three years. THE SITE VISIT
IS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 31, 2000 AT 10:00 AM WITH PARTICIPANTS TO MEET
AT LASSEN VOLCANIC NP HEADQUARTERS, MINERAL, CALIFORNIA. Requests for
