Z -- RENOVATIONS/UPGRADE ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR BUILDING #7 SOL IFB #646-7-00 DUE 091900 POC Kathleen Grundza 412-365-5426 Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision to perform all work required for Project #646-99-101H entitled, "Correct Electrical Deficiencies to Building #7" at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15206. Work includes, but not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical work, electrical work, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Work shall be performed in accordance all VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System drawings, specifications, and all applicable codes, standards, rules and regulations. Work also includes construction of a new switchboard building, new pad mounted transformer, new concrete pad, providing new underground duct runs, new electrical switchboard including all excavation, backfill and restoration work. Contract also includes the removal of Building #7 existing switchboard, existing pad mounted transformer and making provisions for all new connections associated, and providing new electrical panels as specified and shown per VA Drawings and Specifications. Contractor shall complete all work within 180 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Standard Industrial Code is 1731. Size standard is $11.5 million. Estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated solicitation issue date is o/a August 21, 2000.
