The work includes the principal feature and does not limit the responsibility of the contractor to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and perform all work required by the plans and specifications. Removal, re-grading and reconstruction of Forsyth Place East, Forsyth Place West and portions of Sheridan Place and Pershing Avenue. Removal of sunken driveway pavement at selected residences, installation of drainage system and reconstruction of driveways. Installation of new storm sewer trunk lines to serve sunken driveway drainage systems and improve street drainage at selected locations. Replacement of existing inlets with more efficient inlets. The proposed contract will be for a base and 2 option items. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Sealed Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 16 August 00 and open on or about 14 September 00. FUNDING IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE. The Standard Industrial (SIC) Classification for this acquisition is 1623 and the Small Business Size Standard is $17.0 million.
