The contract will be for a base period of one year with four one year renewal options. The total quantity of work ordered during the term of this contract will not be less than $10,000 nor more than $5,000,000. The initial contract value is $250,000 and the Postal Service reserves the option to increase the potential value of the contract, as deemed necessary by the Contracting Officer, not to exceed $5,000,000. Specific work orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the unit price schedule and specifications. The maximum amount of any work order is $250,000; the minimum amount is $500. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Companies submitting offers mustmeet the following minimum requirements: 1) must have five years experience as an UST construction contractor; 2) must have an established office or branch located in the service area of North Carolina and South Carolina. The office/branch must have been conducting business for at least three years; 3) must be fully licensed for this type of work as required by law in the service areas of North Carolina and South Carolina.
