Base bid consist of stone masonry work for: (a) pedestrian entrances(1) reset slightly displaced limestone masonry units of walls(approx 10CF); repoint limestone steps to match existing in-kind (approx. 254LF; repoint limestone posts and walls to match existing in-kind (approx 297 LF). (b)Vehicular Entrance: repoint limestone posts and walls to match existing in-kind (approx. 181 LF). Bid Additive No. 1: Hot mix asphalt work for pedestrian walkway -- resurface existing 4-feet wide paved walkway with 2-inch thick hot-mix asphalt from top landing of steps at entrance near the corner of East 4th Street and North Orchard Knob Avenue to crest of hill (approx 320 LF or 1280 SF). Bid Additive No. 2: Hot-mix Asphalt work for vehicular driveway-work consists of repairing base course of small slumped area (approx 35 SF) of existing paving; resurfacing existing 10-feet paved driveway with 1-inch hot-mix asphalt from sidewalk of street near the corner of North Orchard Knob Avenue and Ivy Street to crest of hill (approx. 560 LF or 5600 LF).
