Requirements will include technical support and the manufacture of Sixteen (16) Liquid Coolant Filtering Units (LCFU) during a period of six months after award. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Mayhew Industries as the designer and manufacture of the LCFU, Part Number LCFU-2AC-302-8, which is used for both Intermediate-level and Organizational-level support of the F/A-18 APG-65 and APG-73 radar. Mayhew Industries has the required technical and engineering expertise and the manufacturing data packages for the LCFU, which is used to filter both polyalphaolefin (pao) and coolenal.
