The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to procure digital audio/visual maintenance for equipment located at NIMA on a sole source basis from Video Dynamics, Inc. In addition, the contractor shall provide monthly on-site preventative maintenance service calls for the period of performance. The period of performance will be from 01 March 00 to 28 February 01. Authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1. Firms that recognize they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is based on information provided and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
