The Airborne Separation Video Program at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for the following Digital Imagers: (1) NTTC-RS Digital Video Imager Head, Monochrome, P/N 2021696-001, qty 45 ea., (2) NTTC-RS Digital Video Imager Head, Color, P/N 2021696-002, qty 5 ea., (3) Digital Video Imager Body, DC, P/N 2021680-004, qty 5 ea., (4) Digital Video Imager Body, AC, qty 45 ea. The Government contemplates an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. The period of performance will be two years. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DRS Technologies, Inc., 133 Bauer Drive, Oakland, N.J. 07436 under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. DRS Technologies is the sole developer and manufacturer of the existing ASVS. This imager must interface with the unique data controls and data buses of the ASVS. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received in response to this notice will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement.
