The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to solicit proposals for the fabrication, testing and delivery of CW-1181D Domes. Three (3) First Article Units will be required. Government reserves the right to waive First Article Test if offeror can demonstrate that the requirements of NUWCSPEC #53711-7335411 have been met. Delivery of First Article: FOB Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport Division, Newport, RI. First year production qty. for CW-1181D Domes is up to forty (40) units. Second year option quantities will be up to eighty (80) units. An ID/IQ contract with FFP provisions is anticipated. Delivery of the production units: FOB NAVSEA/Detachment, Williamsburg, VA. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Evaluation factors: Technical Approach which includes CW-1181D dome design/configuration, materials, environmental effects, technical risk assessment.
