This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation Request for Quotation (RFQ # F19628-00-Q-0014) PC-DCE Annual Support and Maintenance for PC-DCE 2,274 software licenses for Win 95, 98 and NT Runtime Licenses. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. This solicitation is a 100 percent set-aside for small business (The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7378. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price contract to be awarded as a result of this solicitation. All IT items or non-IT items that are required to perform date/time processing involving dates subsequent to December 31, 1999, shall beYear 2000 compliant. The Command and Control Information Processing System Program Office intends to procure the following item: Line Item 0001, Annual Support and Maintenance for PC-DCE for Win 95, 98 and NT Runtime Licenses, period of support 09 August 2000 through 09 August 2001. Line Item 0001 shall be sent to Lt Robert Enrico, ESC/GAM, 75 Vandenberg Drive, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this solicitation, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database; NO EXCEPTIONS are allowed. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
