Numbered Note #1 is applicable. Request for Proposal (RFP) for the operation of Outreach and Admissions for the State of North Carolina. The Job Corps program is designed to provide educational, vocational avocational and support services to youth ages 16 through 24 years. The contractor will provide Outreach and Admission services to ensure the arrival of 1,970 youth annually (1,271 Males and 699 Females). It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period February 1, 2001 through January 31, 2002 with four (4) governmental unilateral renewal options for one (1) year. The RFP will be available on or about August 17, 2000 on our World Wide Web site: WWW.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on August 29, 2000 at 2:00 PM local time, at the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel, 1325 Vrigina Avenue, Atlanta Georgia 30344, (404) 768-6660. All questions prior to and at the Pre-Proposal should be in writing. All interested offerors should download the RFP prior to the Pre-proposal Conference.
