vmontague.doleta.gov. The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and
Training Administration (DOL/ETA) is soliciting proposals to implement
and administer a program of management and oversight of the Job Corps
environmental, health (wellness) and safety, and sanitation program.
The contractor shall assist in the development, implementation,
evaluation and management of environmental, safety and health
(wellness) guidelines and procedures; monitor and provide for the
technical assistance, analysis, and evaluation of Job Corps Center
environmental, safety and health (wellness), and sanitation programs;
provide training and logistical support to Job Corps Centers to ensure
effective delivery of Job Corps environmental, safety and health
(wellness), and sanitation programs and procedures; provide logistical
support to the Job Corps National Office. The period of performance
for the prospective award will be twelve (12) months, from the date of
contract execution, plus four 1-year options to extend at the
government's discretion. This requirement is a 100% Small Business
Set-Aside. The SIC Code is 8742 and the Size Standard is $5 million.
Request for Proposals will be available on our Department of Labor,
Employment and Training Administration's Internet Home Page at
http://www.doleta.gov, approximately 15 days from the date of
publication. Request for Proposals in hard copy form will also be
available upon written request, only on a first come, first-served
basis, until the supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be
honored. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the
Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is
warranted. The fee will not exceed the actual cost of duplication of
the solicitation documents. Closing date for receipt of proposals will
be September 22, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Requests for proposals
must cite RFP-DCS-00-42 and must include two self addressed labels.
Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt of the
solicitation. No collect calls will be accepted. It is the sole
responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any
