The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is soliciting for closing agent services for the sale of single family properties located with the South Carolina area comprising of the following 19 counties:Area I-Allendale, Beaufort, Calhoun, Colleton, Dorchester, Hampton, Orangeburg and Jasper counties Area II-Horry and Georgetown counties; Area VII-Berkeley and Charleston counties; and Area VIII-Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Marion, Marlboro, Williamsburg counties Sales must be closed within a stipulated time frame and prompt and accurate payment of all closing changes made. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina. The contract will be for a one-year base period, with four one-year options. Proposals will be rated on technical merit. Contract start-up is expected to be January 1, 2001. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
