S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY (WSU). Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Washington State University (WSU) for the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC). Purpose of proposed contract is to assist NWFSC with invertebrate identification and analysis, as well as video transecting and quantitative image analysis. Work will include administration, planning field work, analysis, and interpretation of data, as well as report preparation and writing. Dr. Tissot of the WSU is uniquely qualified having previously participated in 1988-1991 Heceta, Coquille, Daisy and Stonewall Bank cruises off Oregon (115 DELTA dives); having participated in 1987 study (Pearcy, et al., 1996). Dr. Tissot conducted research and analyzed results of a particular part of this collaborative research effort with his past experience in submersible work off the West Coast.
