RENEWAL OF PROPRIETARY COMPUTER SOFTWARE LICENSE The Department of Energy (DOE) intends to negotiate and award, on a sole-source basis, a simplified acquisition to SAS Institution,Inc., SAS Campus Drive, Cary, NC 27513, for renewal of existing software maintenance for Base SAS (site ID# 590) and Base System 2000 (site ID# 17456).The period of performance will be from 10/01/00 through 09/30/01. This "Notice of Intent" is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 15 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government (this timeframe supersedes that of Note 22).
