This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information provided in this notice. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract and will be evaluated using performance price trade off procedures and will be issued on or about 15 Aug 00. A statement of work and maps detailing service and plants required will accompany the solicitation. The solicitation and drawings may be downloaded on or about 15 Aug 00 from website http://eps.gov/. The contractor will be required to provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete landscaping as required in the specifications and drawings for six military officer housing quarters, all located at Charleston Air Force Base, Charleston South Carolina. The work includes but is not limited to removal of specific existing plants and complete new landscaping, including fertilization, soil treatments, planting, mulching and miscellaneous related landscape work. The performance time of this project is approximately 30 calendar days. This acquisition is under sic code 0782 and is set aside for small businesses.
