This project consists of masonry restoration work (re-pointing brick wall) at the Chalmette National Cemetery in Chalmette Louisiana. The work consists of, but is not limited to, removing existing vegetation, reset truncated cap atop selective wall pilaster, re-pointing caps of wall pilaster and re-pointing brick courses of masonry wall. The estimated range for this project is less than $50,000.00 dollars. Any contract award will be based on the "Best Value" for the government with price and other factors being considered. Quotations will be evaluated based on past performance, experience and price. The apparent award winner may be asked to provide references to validate past performance. The anticipated start date for this work is on or about September 30, 2000. This will be an unrestricted solicitation available for full and open competition in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
