The U.S Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division, is conducting market research to determine the feasibility of soliciting and awarding one or more contracts for pipeline dredging of multiple sites in the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW), and other sites in the Corps' Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, Wilmington, and Jacksonville Districts. Contractors are urged to respond to questions located on http://sawfire.saw.usace.army.mil/apps/DredgeSu.nsf by close of business Friday, August 18, 2000. All responses will be kept confidential. In addition, a market research meeting will be held with interested contractors on August 23-24, 2000, at the Courtyard by Marriott, 151 Van Campen Blvd., Wilmington, North Carolina 28403, telephone number (910-395-8224).
