The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington DC (FISCNORDETWASH) synopsized a requirement in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (PESO), Annapolis, MD, for the procurement of an ultra-high water blast filtration and recovery equipment system. The synopsis originally published in the CBD approximately 28 Jun 00 is hereby modified as follows: This procurement is no longer being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for Small Business concerns, as defined by FAR clause 52.219-6. Delete the following paragraph: "Interested Small Businesses should provide the contracting office as early as possible but not later than 14 Jul 00, a positive statement of their eligibility as a small business. A manufacturer or regular dealer submitting an offer in its own name agrees to furnish, end items manufactured or produced by small business concerns inside the United States, its territories and possessions, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, or the District of Columbia. If adequate response is not received from small business concerns, the solicitation will instead be issued, without further notice as: Unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this notice are also requested from Large Business Concerns." This modification incorporates the addition of Lot III, Ultra-High Pressure Crawler Type Blast and Recovery Units, Quantity (4) EA into the proposed requirement. Lots I and III shall include a Hand Held Ultra-High Pressure Water Blast and Recovery Unit, Quantity (2) EA; and Lot II shall include a Hand Held Ultra-High Pressure Water Blast and Recovery Unit, Quantity (1) EA. Delivery for Lot III shall be FOB Destination to Kings Bay, GA. This modification further delineates an Option Lot I and an Option Lot II for an Ultra-High Pressure Crawler Type Blast and Recovery Unit, QTY (2) EA (same for both Option Lots I and II) and Hand Held Ultra-High Pressure Water Blast and Recovery Unit, Quantity (2) EA (same for both Option Lots I and II). Lots I, II, III and Option Lot I and II include repair parts and training for maintenance and operation. Option Lot I and Option Lot II shall be FOB origin until further notice.
