This is a combined synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure the following: Four (4) kit, Optical Systems Technology P/N 55402, Night Vision Digital Video, kit contains the following items: One (1) each, dedicated Nikon digital SLR camera (night vision) channel module; one (1) each, dedicated Sony VX-1000 video camera (night vision) channel module; one (1) each, 170MM F/1.4 catadioptric startron (lens (p/n 52075); one (1) each, catadioptric focusing accessory; one (1) each, 135MM F/1.6 catadioptric startron lens (p/n 53290); one (1) each, 75MM F/1.3 3X objective lens; one (1) each, heavy-duty customized carry/storage case; one (1) each, customized camera support w/adjustable grip and quick release mount. The Government intends to replace Technologically obsolete systems, which will be "turned-in" or disposed in accordance with the Government Regulations. The 55th Signal Company currently has the following items as 'trade-in" towards the purchase of new equipments: Four (4) each, -MK-880 Pocketscopes, three (3) each, 170MM catadioptric lens, three (3) each catadioptric focusing accessory, four (4) each 135MM catadioptric lens, four (4) each 75MM 3X lens, four (4) Nikon T-mounts, four (4) each, Nikon objective lens adapters, four (4) each 52MM camcorder adapters, H-D custom case, four (4) each, 2/3 relay lenses, DXD-30 camcorder adapters. Destination point is 55th Signal Company, Fort George Meade, MD. Required delivery is thirty (30) days after contract award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. Offeror proposing other than the requested item must include specification data sheets/brochures, etc., sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications as stated in this notice. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing.
