70 -- WEB-BASED COMMERICAL OFF-THE-SHELF (COTS) SOFTWARE SOL RFI 791-15-00 DUE 083100 POC Elaine Williams (303) 914-5183 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Denver Distribution Center, Denver, Colorado is seeking to identify responsible potential sources and obtain information about web-based Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) automated procurement software which will operate in a PC LAN environment. Some customization may be allowed. At a minimum, the software should contain the following capabilities: 1. Electronic catalog with product descriptions, pictures and product availability. 2. Electronic ordering capability with a shopping basket feature. 3. Customized order/information entry, based on user authorization (e.g., clinicians can enter clinical data). 4. Customized order/information entry, based on commodity group/item chosen (e.g., specific circuits can be ordered for a specific hearing aid only). 5. Ability to enter/edit patient demographic and eligibility information. 6. Ability to enter/edit clinical information. 7. Ability to add shipping charges for expedited orders. 8. Capability of using variable pricing based on customer or volume. 9. Ability to search the database based on multiple criteria. 10. Ability to purchase/pay with government purchase cards or government purchase orders. 11. Online purchase card authorization. 12. Ability to interface with DDC's M/CACHE production database. 13. User authentication. 14. Secure connections. 15. View access to DDC database information on patients, devices, orders, sales, etc. 16. Access to reporting capabilities. 17. Link to e-mail. If there are any vendors having such COTS software, please provide the following information: 1. Company capability statement. 2. Product description of the software and platform which it can execute on. 3. Contact name. 4. Telephone number. 5. Business size category. 6. Available contracting vehicle(s) or schedules for federal wide purchases. 7. TIN. 8. If your company is an authorized dealer for automated procurement COTS software. 9. Descriptive literature. 10.
