outpatient assessment and counseling services for substance abuse
treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the St. Thomas,
Virgin Islands area. held under the authority of varius united States
Statutes. A firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a one year
base period and four one-year option periods is anticipated. Services
for the base period is October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002,
shall include services for 30 inmates as follows: intake assessment
(one per inmate), 48/30-minute individual counseling sessions per
inmate, 48/30-minute group counseling sessions per inmate, 12/30-minute
family counseling sessions per six inmates. For each four one year
option periods the services will be the same as the base and services
shall are from October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2006. All services
shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work entitled,
"Transitional drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)," dated November 16, 1999.
Proper licensing in the U.S. Virgin Islandsis required. The estimated
issue date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is o/a September 3,
2000. The estimated closing date is o/a November 1, 2000. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
