Kelly 612-725-2183 Contractor to provide cardiac arrhythmia event detection services to patients of the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, One Veterans Drive (90C), Minneapolis, MN 55417, using ambulatory ECG event recorders for the monitoring of patients with infrequent cardiac symptomatic events. Service shall be provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. A contractor staff cardiologist must be available at all times for telephone consultation. Contractor will provide all event recorders required. Event recorders must be state-of-the-art equipment and have an extended looping ECG memory of a minimum of five minutes (300 seconds) and a frequency response of .05 to 30 Hz. The monitoring system must be capable of recording data before, during and after the cardiac symptom is experienced. The monitors must be lightweight, and simple for patients to use. It is estimated that approximately 160 patients per year will require ambulatory ECG monitors and monitoring services. Contract period shall be for a base year with three 12-month options to renew. Total contract period is not to exceed four years. NAICS code is 621999 Misc. Ambulatory Health Care Services and small business size standard is $5 million per year.
