Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), is recruiting
to contract individual registered nurses to coordinate the medical
management of injured federal employees. Assignments will be
intermittent and part time. The areas of recruitment are Pennsylvania,
Delaware, West Virginia, Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland.
Minimum requirements include 1) a valid R.N. License, 2) at least two
years case management experience, and 3) at least two years general
med-surgical experience. Additional experience desired includes basic
knowledge of workers' compensation injuries and illnesses. Applicants
chosen for this contract position will sign a memorandum of agreement
and will be required to attend a mandatory training session on OWCP
procedures. RNs are not paid or otherwise reimbursed for attending this
training workshop. Nurses currently engaged in federal employment are
not eligible for this contract position. Each interested RN must send
