The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louisville, KY and Ireland Army Community Hospital (IACH), Ft. Knox, KY has a requirement for contractor to provide all necessary supplies, materials, equipment, and labor to perform transcription of medical documents, primarily RADIOLOGY TERMINOLOGY. Services are to be provided at Contractor's facility with Contractor's furnished equipment, via a minimum of eight (8) dedicated access lines for the VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY and a minimum of four (4) lines, for IACH, Ft Knox, KY. Reports will be transcribed directly into the Government DHCP/VISTA system within four (4) hours of dictation. This contract is subject to the service contract act and the place of performance is unknown. Wage determinations have not been requested from DOL. The Contracting Officer will request wage determinations for possible places of performance if asked to do so and if the request is received in writing no later than August 14, 2000. There is a $25.00 NON REFUNDABLE charge for this solicitation package. All requests are to be in writing and addressed to the Contracting Officer (90C). Phone requests and Internet requests will NOT be accepted. Solicitations will be available on or about August 22, 2000 with proposals due September 14, 2000 at COB. The contract period will be October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with two (2) one year options to renew. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business, SIC 7338 applies.
