HARDWARE ADAPTER NO-COST LICENSING OPPORTUNITY The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, invites consumer software companies to consider licensing its internally-developed MX-11599()/U Electrical Equipment Mounting Adapter design. The MX-11599()/U adapts the R-2606/U Radio Navigation Receiver into a MT-6587/A or a MT-6589/A Electrical Equipment Mounting Base. The MX-11955()/U adapts the electrical and mechanical interface of the R-2606/U to the pre-existing mounting bases without affecting the operation of the existing installation. For additional technical information, contact Art Dean, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Code D3105, 49575 Gate Road, San Diego CA 92152-6436; phone (619-553-1383), email: deanar@spawar.navy.mil. The Center offers a no-cost license to the engineering drawings and associated lists specifying the MX-11599()/U design and technology in consideration for limited-term government-purpose rights to any and all derivative improvements made to the design in future by licensee.
