is seeking to lease office and related space consisting of an initial
requirement of 630,000 to 650,000 BOMA rentable square feet (RSF)in
one, or no more than two building(s). The minimum requirement for one
building shall be at least 200,000 BOMA rsf. The Government is
interested in having the option to expand an additional 200,000 to
250,000 BOMA rsf by the completion of the lease term. The Government is
also interested in acquiring a purchase option in connection with the
leased space. Location: Washington, D.C., within or abutting the area
commencing at Union Station, east on F Street to 2nd Street, north on
2nd Street NE to H Street, west on H Street to Massachusetts Avenue,
northwest on Massachusetts Avenue to Dupont Circle, southwest on New
Hampshire Avenue to Washington Circle, southeast on Pennsylvania Avenue
to Constitution Avenue, east on Constitution Avenue to Louisiana
Avenue, northeast on Louisiana Avenue to Union Station. Lease Term: Up
to twenty (20) years. Occupancy: Delivery of required space must be
complete no later than December 31, 2003. Response to Include: 1.

estimated rate per rentable square foot. 3. Owner's name and address,
including a written statement from owner that offeror has legal
authority to provide information on the property. 4. Willingness to
submit a purchase option. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
is an independent Federal agency authorized by statute to enter
