Historical Park is about to upgrade their Local Area Network to
accommodate three additional buildings (Old City Hall, Franklin Court
and the Command Center.) The server for the LAN is located in Park
Headquarters. This work is for the installation of air blown fiber in
a manner that will provide fiber optic connections in the basement of
each of the above buildings. The park already has an installed data
highway that will accommodate the air blown fiber system. This work is
for configuring/routing the appropriate empty tubes (micro-duct) and
blowing in fiber. A short section of a 19 tube micro duct also needs to
be installed between the First Bank of the United States and Park
Headquarters (40 meters). The manufactuer for the air blown fiber is
Sumitomo Electric, Fiber Optics Corporation. No substitutions will be
allowed. Installers must be trained and certified by Sumitomo. The
scope of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Fax requests for
bid package to Deborah Davis at (215) 597-7125. No telephone requests
will be accepted. Posted 08/04/00 (W-SN482770). (0217) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0135 20000808\Z-0008.SOL)
