The CBD announcement is amended as follows: In general, the work consists of: (a) Replace 132 ea 400 watt high pressure sodium vapor high bay fixutres with 132 ea new 400 watt metal halide fixtures on the outside rows in bays 1 and 3. Replace 198 ea 400 watt high pressure sodium vapor high bay fixtures with 198 ea 1000 watt metal halide high bay fixtures on the middle 2 rows in each bay. (b) Replace appx 55,000 ft of conductor with appx 38,000 ft of new conductor, using existing conduit to feed the new high bay fixtures. (c) Replace 18 each existing 200 amp panels with new 18 ea 225 amp panels, and 9 ea 100 amp panels. (d) Replace 4 ea feeders to new panels, exact location to be determined at time of installation (e) Install new 215 ea 175 watt metal halide style III type fixtures on columns, (f) Install new appx 7000 ft new rigid conduit with new conductors to feed the style III type fixtures. (g) Install new, 24 ea 175 watt metal halide style III fixtures to be divided over the underside of 9 ea bridge cranes, (h) Provide 9 ea spares consisting of 3 ea spares of each type fixture. Estimated magitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Completion time is 270 days Estimated issue date of solicitation is 04 Aug 00.
