Work consists of modernization/upgrade of an existing elevator located at 420 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA. Modernization should bring the elevator to current code and ADA requirements. The existing elevator is a hydraulic passenger type with a capacity of 4,000 pounds. Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Modification of elevator microprocessor controller. 2. Provision of new terminal stopping devices and isolation pads. 3. Replacement of hoistway door tracks, hangers, and rollers. 4. Replacement of door closures and interlocks. 5. Replacement of door operators with high-speed, heavy duty, solid state operations. 6. Installation of new electronic full screen door detector. 7. Replacement of car and traveling cable wiring. 8. Replacement of car operating panel, hall push button station and car direction lanterns. 9. Realign and clean car guide rails; clean car buffers.
