E-MAIL: Robert B. Gardner, R.B.GARDNER@larc.nasa.gov. NASA/LaRC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for one factory new Cessna 206H Stationair airplane. Required options shall include the Avionics NAV package (inclusive of KLN 94 Color GPS-IFR), Cargo Pod and Propeller Anti-Ice System. NASA also intends to specify a custom paint scheme and will require two sets of the maintenance and operating manuals. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from Cessna Aircraft Company under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
