This market survey is being conducted to identify qualified sources capable of providing upgrade and refurbishment of 30 open rack assemblies used for training on the Digital Group Multiplexer (DGM) Assemblages located at the Signal Center (SIGCEN) Fort Gordon, GA. It also notifies all interested parties the possibility exists that this requirement may be synopsized as sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). Qualified sources shall provide the materials, in kit form, to upgrade the SIGCEN's open rack assemblies from the full size configuration to the High Mobility Digital Assemblages (HMDA) configuration. An existing suite of open rack equipment consists of the following assemblage configurations: 2 each AN/TRC-173, 2 each AN/TRC-174,1 each AN/TRC-175, 1 each AN/TRC-138A. A total of five (5) suites are required. The following material shall be provided for this effort: OCU Cable(50ea);FOCU Cable(50ea);FOM Cable (50ea); Patch Cord Set (Patch panel cord set to include "u-links" and "loop back plugs")(50ea);Fiber Loop Back Plug (30ea); FOCU (FOM power Supply)(A FOCU will operate up to 3 FOMs)(30ea); Patch Panel (All patch panels shall be delivered with all required cabling and connectors)(30ea); Fiber Optic Cable(300M reels)(25ea). The listed material shall be manufactured to the current HMDA configuration. It is acknowledged that the SIGCEN rack configuration may not exactly match that of the HMDA Assemblage and for this reason the contractor will need to make adjustments to the patch panel physical size and method of mounting. Configuration control is required as it relates to the SIGCEN equipment. Engineering drawings are not available for this procurement. Written responses to this announcement should contain a Title Page and Synopsis. The title page should contain the vendor name, date, and the name and telephone number of the author and/or other points of contact. The synopsis should provide evidence of vendor experience and briefly summarize the capabilities of the vendor to accomplish the effort described above within a four month timeframe.
