The COASTSYSTA intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to ADA Core Technologies, Inc., 73 Fifth Ave., New York, NY for a modification to the AN/AQS-20 Post Mission Analysis (PMA) Workstation. This acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition as the AN/AAQS-20 workstation and its operating system is obsolete and non-year 2000 (Y2K) compliant. Two (2) Silicon Graphic O2 workstations have been procured to replace the present PMA workstations. ADA Core Technologies is the original developer of the GNAT Professional ADA 95 Development Environment and has ported ADA 83 applications ranging from medium size applications to ones which contain millions of lines of code.
