Notice to award a sole source procurement for Toddlertown Play Equipment. The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract with O'Brien & Sons of Medfield, MA for specialized outdoor play equipment to be installed at Hanscom Air Force Base. This notice may constitute the only official notice of this action. The award is to include surface base mount ( approximately 2300 sq ft.), rubber surfacing, and specialized equipment as itemized. These are installation of play structures for the toddler age group, "Splash Circuit", "Watch me Grow", "Talk Tubes". Award will be made under FAR Part 12. The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to perform. This is not a request for quotes, however, all information received by 15 August 2000 will receive consideration by the Government. The decision not to compete this action is solely at thediscretion of the Government.
