This procurement is for a collaborative research project between the Cancer Genetics Branch/NIH and the University of Basel to obtain frozen, histological verified breast cancers for molecular screening. The investigators at the University of Basel will identify tissues from their frozen archive, check and evaluate the histology of the specimens, obtain basic clinical information, cut the specimens and provide the Cancer Genetics Branch/NIH with a set of anonymous, coded 200 frozen breast cancers with associated clinic-pathological information.
