Maintenance, repairs, and operational administrative support services for the Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet (CINCPACFLT) Berthing and Messing Barge Program in San Diego, California; Bremerton, Puget Sound, and Everett, Washington; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; and Sasebo and Yokosuka, Japan by means of a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Contract for a Base Year plus Four Option Years commencing on 01 October 2000 (or the date of contract award, if later). The Contractor will furnish daily management, supervision, and labor necessary to ensure satisfactory habitability maintenance, repairs, upgrades and operational administrative support services for the CINCPACFLT Berthing and Messing Program's 36 barges and structures and their related systems, equipment, and facilities in accordance with the performance based requirements set forth in the RFP. The solicitation will be available on 07 August 2000 after noon (PDST) at the FISC San Diego web link http://sd.fisc.navy.mil and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link http://www.neco.navy.mil. All solicitation information will be posted on these web links. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web links frequently, for updates to any and all documents.
