SUBMISSION NO. 480422, DATED JULY 31, 2000. This modification changes
the due date from 10/05/00 to 10/03/00, 2:00 p.m. and point of contact,

801-524-3651. Also changed is the Description of Work. The revised
Description of Work is as follows: "The work consists of replacing
approximately 49 miles of overhead steel ground wire with optical
ground wire on existing 34.5-kilovolt and 2.4 kilovolt electrical
distribution lines. The work consists of removing the existing overhead
ground wire, installing the optical overhead ground wire on existing
wood pole structures, furnishing and installing additional hardware in
modification to the existing wood pole structures. Work also includes
constructing approximately 4.5 miles of new overhead fiber optic
communication line. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 to
$5,000,000. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be required. Work
is under SICCode 1623. A prebid conference and site visit is scheduled
for August 7, 2000, at 8:00 a.m. at the Bureau of Reclamation's
Farmington Construction Office, 2200 Bloomfield Highway, Farmington,
New Mexico. It is anticipated that the conference and tour will last
about 6 hours. Transportation will not be provided for the tour. The
area of the site tour is accessible by two-wheel drive vehicles. No
prenotification is required but participants should be at the
Reclamation office by 8:00 a.m. on the tour date. It is anticipated the
solicitation will be available August 21, 2000. Cost for the
solicitation is $40. Charges for solicitations include regular U.S.
