The project consists of the installation of Stormwater Emergency Watershed Protection(EWP) measures at the Copper Mine Brook site in the Town of Burlington, Connecticut. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work will begin approximately October 11, 2000. The job is to be completed within 60 calendar days of the Notice To Proceed. Major items of work include but are not limited to: Mobilization and Demobilization; Clearing and Grubbing; Stabilizing Construction Access; Silt Fence; Sediment Dike; Seeding and Mulching; Removal of Water; Excavation Unclassified; Earthfill, Class C; Topsoil; 24" Loose Rock Riprap; and Bedding. All responsible sources may submit a Bid that will be considered by the agency. A Presolicitation Notice will be issued. Request for solicitation packages will be available on August 25, 2000 at the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service, 344 Merrow Road, Suite A, Tolland, CT 06084.
