Z -- CULVERT REPLACEMENT AND FILL REPAIR PROJECT SOL RFQ R1-17-00-23 DUE 091500 POC Contracting 208 983-1950 Ext 4174 Culvert Replacement and Fill Repair Project. Location of Project: Nez Perce National Forest, Idaho County, Idaho. Pipe locations are on Whitman Creek on FDR 244; Section 26, T30N, R4E, on Trout Creek on FDR 9410; Section 35, T28N, R4E and on Royal Creek on FDR 2002; Section 8, T25N, R3E. The fill failure is located on FDR 648 at M.P. 8.8 in Section 21, T29N, R5E. Project consists of replacing the existing culverts with fish passage culverts and repairing one fill failure. Two culverts are located on the Clearwater Ranger District and one culvert is located on the Salmon River Ranger District. The work on the fish passage culverts includes the removal of the old culverts and installation of the new culverts with associated slope protection measures, channel work and reconstructing the driving surface. The fill repair includes fill excavation, installation of a porous rock fill, installation of geotextile and associated work to reconstruct the driving surface. Estimated start work is July 1, 2001. Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 6, 2000 to begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Supervisors Office in Grangeville, Idaho. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
