The requirement: The work is located at Shasta Dam approximately 13 miles north of Redding, California in Shasta County. This requirement requires the submission of a subcontracting plan. Shasta Drum Gate Repair consists of: saw cutting; drilling holes in concrete for reinforcement placement; selectively removing grout and concrete from drum gate seats; furnishing and installing reinforcing bars to repair grout reinforcement; furnishing and placing cast-in-place grout to repair grout pad at drum gate seats; furnishing and applying coatings for rehabilitation of drum gates; performing rehabilitation work on each of three existing 110 -- by 28 foot drum gates; designing, fabricating, installing, and removing temporary construction supports to hold a drum gate; and numerous other tasks.
