Z -- PREQUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS INTERESTED IN THE EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING BUILDING IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA SOL 162640-00-A-0110 DUE 083000 POC Craig Sharp, USPS Project Manager, 630/295-6240, or Teri Wilcox-DuBois, USPS Contract Specialist, 630/295-6274 This is notice of intent to prequalify firms for the build-out of the interior space of an existing industrial building located at 7451 Templehoff, Ameriplex Industrial Complex, Indianapolis, IN. The facility is approximately 152,000 square feet, with an estimated cost range of $2,300,000.00 to $2,900,000.00. The project needs to have an accelerated schedule that has a planned construction start date of October 2000. Qualification statements will available on or about August 11, 2000 with a return due date of August 30, 2000. Qualification statements will be evaluated by the contracting officer's staff. Primary factors that will be considered are: construction experience on a similar industrial build-out with an accelerated schedule, financial stability, project management identified, capacity and reference and previous clients. Other factors to be considered are: scheduling and company organization. Applications will be evaluated by a Postal Service team, and all firms will be advised within 60 days of receipt of their application as to prequalification status. Firms selected as being the most highly qualified will be placed on the prequalification list.
