Skinnell, Contract Specialist, 717-770-4613 The Defense Distribution Depot San Diego (DDDC), San Diego, CA has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the equipment, materials and labor necessary to modify the existing sortation controls for the package sortation system located in Building 3304A at the Defense Distribution Depot San Diego (DDDC). The contractor shall install a new sortation controller which shall be integrated into the existing Accu-Sort Systems Inc Laser Scanner Sortation Control System. The new sortation controller shall interface to the San Diego Equipment Control System (ECS) via an existing Nistars Laser Scanner Controller. There is an existing programmable logic controller that shall also be modified. All control and status messages shall be in accordance with the Government provided ECS interface design specification. The contractor shall also provide all materials and labor as required including: any additional I/O devices (such as I/O modules, photo-eyes, tachometers, solenoids, cabling, etc). All work shall be complete and in accordance with the Government specifications and drawings which will be provided with the solicitation package. The Government requires final acceptance of the complete system within 90 days following the date of contract award.
