The contractor will work with a specified Landscape Architect from the University of California, Davis, who will act as principle investigator for tract recreation residence inventory and evaluation. A minimum of two years professional experience in historic and archaeological inventory and significance evaluation is required. Proposals will be evaluated on quantitative and qualitative factors. The only quantitative factor is the amount of historic and archaeological inventory and evaluation that can be accomplished within the duration of the contract and within a maximum budget of $195,000. The qualitative factors are: response to the tasks listed in the scope of work; response to the Recreation Residence Strategy process (provided as an exhibit in the scope of work); knowledge of historic preservation laws, regulations, and processes; knowledge of California history and prehistory in the geographical locations where the resources are being evaluated; experience of key personnel; experience of the firm.
