The US Army Environmental Center anticipates negotiations with EAC Forestry Consultant, Fayeteville, NC on a non-competitive basis contract under simplified acquisition procedures. The proposed effort calls for the awardee to have as primary objective to coordinate all aspects of the Fort Bragg Private Land Initiative with officials in Fort Bragg and local government officials. The purpose of this coordination is to assure the acquisitions under the Cooperative Agreement serve to support the military mission of the installation. It will require facilitation and support of rapid staff actions on the installation. Also the awardee shall be responsible for the red-cockaded woodpecker.
