The solicitation is restricted to small business concerns. The requested solicitation document, will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18, SIC 7692. Non Personal Services to provide the following: Contractor shall provide all personnel, parts, tools, equipment, vehicles, and supervision necessary to replace a 4_ X 10_ shell section on bottom of a Wendland hot water generating tank at Building 9310 on Lackland AFB, TX, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. This includes demolition of the concrete lining in the area to be repaired, cutting out the existing section, furnishing and installing the new tank section, and installing a new concrete liner in the repaired section. All work to be performed using NBIC and ASME certified procedures by ASME certified welders. NBIC certification shall be provided upon completion. In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to an organized site visit only, tentatively scheduled for 16 AUG 00. Contractor must quote on all items listed. FOB: Destination for delivery is Lackland AFB, TX. All interested parties must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Once contractors have received full solicitation package, submit written offers via fax (oral offers will not be considered), on solicitation F41636-00-T-0730 to SSgt Quina Garrett.
