The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has a requirement for the design, collection, and data entry, of beneficiary information in response to a mass mailing to approximately 1.8 million retired DoD pay members. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, etc. necessary for performance. The place of performance is the contractor's facility. The period of performance is date of award through December 30, 2000. The Government will award to the Contractor whose proposal is determined to be the "best value" to the Government, price and other factors considered. The RFQ and Statement of Work, will be posted to the DFAS website, www.dfas.mil, on or about August 11, 2000. Instructions on submitting a proposal and/or questions are provided in the RFQ.
