S -- - INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH BERING SEA ECOTECH. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Bering Sea Ecotech for the NOAA Facilities & Logistics Division. Purpose of contract is to provide all labor, equipment and materials to excavate and dispose of approxmately 170 cubic yards of solid waste on St. Paul Island, Alaska. Work will also include removing a 350-500 gallon fuel tank. All disposal expected to be on-island. Bering Sea Ecotech is the only known qualified source that can provide environmental services. Proposed vendor also only known source that has operational presence on St. Paul Island.
